About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function within a dynamic organisation. Reporting to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust governance, and supporting the delivery of the strategic finance plan.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the finance department and support the CFO in strategic planning and operational delivery.
* Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance
* Oversee management and financial accounting, including statutory accounts, audit, with relevant compliance
* Drive financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation for the organisation
* Manage taxation, treasury, and cashflow, ensuring compliance and optimal use of funds
About You:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* Public sector experience is preferred
* Ideally, seeking a fixed-term placement for 6 months, but day rates could be considered.
* The role is available now, but the client could also wait until January 2026 for a start date.
