About the Role
As the Senior Training Designer, you will support the Integrated Training Design Service to deliver blended, active learning experiences that delight customers. You will own all training courses assigned to you, ensuring they are inclusive, learner‑centric and compliant with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
Required Experience
* A responsibility for all training courses assigned, ensuring they are actively engaging and learner‑centric.
* Experience with end‑to‑end training design processes, DSAT compliance and media enhancement, proactively addressing and escalating challenges.
* Production and development of high‑quality training design, e‑learning and courseware materials using a variety of media and technology.
* Contribution to the overall instructional strategy, analyzing and implementing changes to training programmes.
* Seeking feedback and impact stories to improve training continuously, incorporating validation outcomes.
* Building strong stakeholder relationships with subject‑matter experts to drive training transformation.
* Identifying opportunities for accreditation of new or amended training and managing existing accreditations.
* Acting as a technical lead to ensure processes follow latest defence policy guidance.
* Responsible for your own continuous professional development and coaching of allocated Training Designers.
* Adhering to health and safety responsibilities and security standards for data protection.

* Previous experience from a Learning and Development role.

Desirable Experience
* Experience with the ADDIE model and DSAT.
* Training and/or instructional design expertise.
* Programme management tools and applications.
* Knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies.
* Collaboration in a team environment to develop creative solutions to technical problems.
