Connect Appointments are seeking a skilled Cook/Chef to join our client's Larbert team and contribute to the success of their catering department, providing high-volume catering services. Hourly pay of £13.54, rising to £23.56 per hour for weekend work
As the Cook/Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, producing, presenting, and serving menu items to customers while adhering to Health and Safety practices and Food Hygiene Regulations. You will also provide direction to Catering Assistants in the preparation of menu items.
Your responsibilities as a Cook/Chef will include, but not limited to:
Maintain hygiene standards in all food preparation, production, and holding areas; complying with food hygiene regulations and HACCP policy
Monitor and record temperatures of chillers, freezers, food, and holding areas
To be successful in this role you will ideally have a level 3 food hygiene certificate. Experience in high volume catering services
