Role Purpose
Ipsotek is seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to own the architecture and delivery of our SaaS platform while also acting as the security governance lead for the business. This is a senior, cross-functional role with a dual focus:
* Cloud Architecture & Product Ownership: Drive the design and evolution of our SaaS platform across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security by design. Own the product roadmap and collaborate with engineering, operations, and client-facing teams to deliver robust, secure, and innovative solutions.
* Security Governance & Oversight: Serve as Ipsotek’s primary security point person, overseeing cybersecurity responsibilities across the organisation, interfacing with Eviden’s CISO and Centre of Excellence, and managing external vendors. Ensure compliance, governance, and risk management are embedded in all solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Product Ownership
* Define and maintain enterprise cloud architecture strategy across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
* Drive architectural decisions for scalability, resilience, cost optimisation, and security.
* Own the SaaS product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and security objectives.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams on cloud-native and secure design patterns.
* Act as the primary decision-maker for product architecture and design trade-offs.
Security Governance & Cyber Oversight
* Act as Ipsotek’s security governance lead and conduit to Eviden CISO/Centre of Excellence.
* Coordinate vulnerability management, penetration testing, and remediation activities with internal and external partners.
* Oversee PSIRT processes for Ipsotek products, ensuring timely triage and resolution of security issues.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
* Maintain and evolve policies around data protection, access control, and compliance.
* Oversee security audits, client security questionnaires, and due diligence processes.
* Champion DevSecOps practices and embed security in solution design and deployment.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the internal and external point person for all security matters at Ipsotek.
* Provide regular updates to leadership on risk posture, mitigation plans, and security initiatives.
* Mentor and develop internal talent; engage external specialists for niche skills when needed.
* Represent Ipsotek in security forums and client meetings.
Qualifications
Must Have
* 10+ years’ experience leading enterprise cloud architecture and SaaS product ownership (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
* Strong understanding of security governance, vulnerability management, and cloud security.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and client services.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Familiarity with ISO 27001, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
* Experience liaising with CISO-level stakeholders and external security partners.
* Ability to work independently, drive initiatives, and influence at all levels.
Nice to Have
* Experience in AI/ML or video analytics environments.
* Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, or CISM.
* Experience with PSIRT processes and client security due diligence.
