Electrical Site Supervisor - Nights
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £450 per night (Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Initial 3-6 Months
Certifications Required: CSCS/ESC Card, SMSTS/SSSTS, ECS Manager card or CSCS Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical systems for the monorail automation project.
2. Ensure data installations are carried out accurately and according to specifications.
3. Enforce strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on-site to maintain safety.
4. Oversee the implementation of Lockout Tagout (LOTO) and Management Lock & Tag procedures.
5. Manage and coordinate electrical work in automation warehousing, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
6. Provide leadership and guidance to the electrical team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.
7. Prepare daily/weekly reports on electrical work progress, issues, and resolutions, ensuring documentation accuracy.
8. Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor with a focus on automation projects, especially monorail systems.
* Extensive experience in data installations and electrical systems for complex automation projects.
* Deep knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), LOTTO, and management lock & tag protocols.
* Strong understanding of automation warehousing and electrical control systems (ECS).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and motivate teams.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience in monorail systems or similar automation projects.
* Additional electrical qualifications or certifications.
* Familiarity with the Lockout Tagout Team Integration (LOTTI) process.
