The Substance Misuse Service provides assessment and clinical treatment for individuals experiencing addiction to drugs and alcohol. We work with a range of people who present with complex and challenging needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
We are currently seeking Band 5 nurses to support clinical interventions. The role includes running clinics to administer medication and managing your own caseload of service users, providing person-centred care. It is essential to ensure holistic care to support individuals in reaching their recovery goals. Service users often present with complex physical and mental health needs alongside their substance misuse; care and treatment planning should reflect and address these needs. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic individual who will collaborate with service users, carers, and third parties. There are excellent learning opportunities within the service to support professional development.
