Purpose of the job: The role of Break-Out Technician is to work alongside the laminating department by assisting with daily tasks of releasing components from moulds, which will ensure the department runs smoothly. Listed below are the main responsibilities associated with the position. Key Responsibilities: Operational Responsibilities: · Release components from moulds using air/hand tools, ensuring release directions and procedures are followed, with due care and attention. · Fully assemble patterns with weirs once moulds have been broken. · Have a flexible approach to working hours as required by company projects, as this role will also incorporate other tasks on an ad-hoc basis. · When autoclave cycle has finished, the operator has opened the clave door, unload the claves and take parts into break-out dept. · Liaise with department supervisors to prioritize work. · Capable of listening to and following instructions from supervisors. · Be proactive in all aspects of daily tasks.
