Job Description We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as an Assistant Management Accountant, based at our Great Bear Skelmersdale site. As an Assistant Management Accountant you will contribute to the overall success of the site, reporting directly to the site Management Accountant responsible for delivering Management Information to the General Manager, Operations team, Finance and the Board. You will also be responsible for the production of daily, weekly and monthly finance reporting to a review level. Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Management Accountant: Production of the weekly costings Preparation of Management Accounts including posting journals Investigation and explanation of variances in the Management Accounts Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Invoice and credit control customers and update the Company cash forecast Deal with site suppliers invoice queries Assist with the annual forecast / budget process Collate and issue various internal reports, stats, KPI’s Manage weekly & monthly payroll using Kronos. Maintain personnel records, to ensure all staff paid correctly Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects Support the site, raising PR’s/PO’s, Expenses, as required.
