Position
We’re on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients based in the North West region! In this exciting field‑based role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and repairing a variety of commercial refrigeration and cooling systems. You’ll be joining a forward‑thinking company where your technical expertise and customer service skills will truly make an impact. The position is Full‑Time, Permanent offering great benefits and the opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects!
What you’ll be doing
* Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and servicing of commercial refrigeration systems
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs efficiently
* Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
* Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships
* Working independently and managing your own schedule
* Travelling to client sites across the region with use of a company vehicle
* All materials and equipment are often delivered to site, allowing engineers to complete work on time and efficiently, removing the requirement to commute to head office for supplies
Hours
Monday‑Friday, Days, 39 hours per week. Overtime available and paid at time.
Pay
£40,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience), regular overtime opportunities paid at a premium.
Skills / Experience Required
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer
* Strong understanding of refrigeration systems, electrical and mechanical components
* City & Guilds 2079 (F‑Gas) or equivalent qualification
* Full UK driving licence required
* Excellent problem‑solving and fault‑finding abilities
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to manage workload independently and work effectively within a team
