Salary: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Nottingham.
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support classroom learning, assist students who require additional help, and contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities of a Secondary Teaching Assistant:
* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons across different subjects
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who need additional assistance
* Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials
* Encourage student participation and engagement during lessons
* Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
* Support classroom behaviour management in line with school policies
* Assist students with their learning tasks and coursework
* Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support student progress
Secondary Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* A patient, supportive, and positive approach to working with students
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* A genuine interest in supporting students’ learning and development
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
