Location: Coleshill, Birmingham
Hours: 35 hours, Monday - Friday (including off-the-job training)
Salary: £20,000 p/a
Our Apprenticeship programme offers both face-to-face and virtual training to develop the skills and knowledge required for the role. You’ll learn from a role model you will shadow and work with throughout your apprenticeship.
As an Apprentice, you’ll be fully supported to achieve a nationally recognised qualification by the end of your apprenticeship with Air Liquide. You will attend college, funded by the business, and receive support from an experienced team member, learning about delivering outstanding service and becoming an expert in your field. A buddy and assessor will guide you through your daily tasks.
The role of a supply chain administrator involves supporting the wider supply chain team with administrative duties essential for daily operations, such as order processing, shipment tracking, inventory control, and invoice management. You will act as a communication hub, interacting with suppliers and internal teams. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are vital for ensuring accuracy and timeliness, improving the supply chain's efficiency. This role offers a great opportunity to gain foundational knowledge of supply chain operations and career growth.
* Assisting in achieving company objectives and KPIs
* Ordering stock from suppliers to meet customer demand and maintain service levels
* Processing order confirmations from suppliers efficiently, liaising with other departments as needed
* Communicating potential risks within the business to stakeholders
* Preparing presentations, reports, and analysis
* Supporting the supply chain department's functions
