About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly, organised and customer-focused People Services Administrator to join our People Team. This role plays an important part in delivering a positive colleague experience across the business by providing professional, accurate and responsive People administration support. Working within our Shared Services function, you’ll support colleagues and managers across a variety of People processes, helping to ensure every interaction is handled with care, professionalism and efficiency. Based in a hybrid working environment, you’ll spend two days a week at our Haydock office, working closely with the wider People team in a collaborative and supportive setting. What you’ll be doing As a People Services Administrator, no two days are the same. You’ll support the full colleague lifecycle and help deliver a smooth and welcoming experience for colleagues across the business. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining and updating employee records and People systems with a high level of accuracy Responding to colleague queries via phone and email in a professional and supportive manner Processing colleague lifecycle changes including new starters, leavers and contract amendments Supporting recruitment activity including interview coordination and candidate communication Coordinating onboarding and induction processes to ensure a positive new starter experience Preparing People documentation including contracts, offer letters and employment-related correspondence Supporting payroll and reward administration processes with accurate colleague data Identifying and correcting data quality issues to maintain reliable records Supporting colleague engagement initiatives and wider People team activities Acting as a first point of contact for People systems and administration queries Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies What we’re looking for We’re looking for someone who enjoys supporting others, takes pride in delivering excellent service and thrives in a busy team environment.
