What you will do
Conduct market analysis to identify and prioritize territories for distributor engagement
Recruit, develop, and maintain partnerships with new distributors; assume management of certain existing distributors where applicable
Negotiate commercial agreements with distributors, ensuring mutually beneficial terms
Collaborate with internal marketing teams to onboard and educate new distributors and implement channel-specific marketing initiatives and campaigns
Provide input on pricing strategies tailored to market conditions and distributor portfolio requirements
Act as the single point of contact for distribution partners, fostering long-term, trust-based relationships
Ensure alignment with Materialise's mission and quality standards in all channel activities
Your profile
At least 5 years of experience in sales and/or channel management in the medical device industry
Strong track record in orthopaedic reconstruction sales is highly preferred; understanding of market players in hip and shoulder reconstruction is an asset
Proven ability to build and maintain successful distributor relationships in diverse markets
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is an advantage
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong relationship-building capabilities
Willingness to travel internationally as required for market development activities
The candidate must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of an international airport
