About the Role
As an HR Advisor, you will be an integral part of our Human Resources team, providing expert HR support to ensure the smooth operation of people-related processes. You will collaborate closely with managers and employees across multiple functions, flexibly supporting different specialist areas. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is proactive, confident in influencing stakeholders, and eager to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures, and best practices
Managing employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
Supporting performance improvement initiatives and guiding managers through performance-related processes
Partnering with key stakeholders to drive engagement, retention, and talent development
Looking after employee benefits, managing administrative aspects, and promoting entitlements to employees
Leading and supporting HR projects beyond the day-to-day remit, identifying areas for improvement
Supporting HR systems management (specific system experience not required) and ensuring data accuracy
Ensuring compliance with employment law and HR best practices
Experience to Succeed
We are looking for someone with:
A strong background in HR advisory roles, ideally within a fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience in employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management
Ability to build meaningful relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong Microsoft skills and confidence in working with HR systems
Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach, seeking ways to enhance HR processes
Ability to lead projects, manage expectations, and work flexibly across different HR areas
Experience in benefits administration and employee engagement initiatives
Experience supporting a sizeable, fast-moving business in any industry—automotive, retail, hospitality, or beyond
Approachable and adaptable, with a passion for people and HR excellence
