Assistant Store Manager
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This role blends leadership, customer service, and operational management. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can step in wherever needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive key performance indicators (KPI’s) and results to achieve store targets.
* Lead, inspire, and develop the retail team, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Monitor and support daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory control.
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge and retail best practices.
* Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems, manage inventory, and use Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, loss prevention, and corporate policies.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
* Solid organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
* Flexibility to work a 7‑day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment.
