Salary: £31,650 - £45,646 p.a. (M1 – UPS1)

About the Role:
Our client, a specialist independent day school based in Tokers Green, Reading, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join their committed team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment that supports children and young people with a variety of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, and associated learning challenges.
As a Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, personalised education that enables every learner to make progress academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work collaboratively with other professionals, including teaching assistants and therapists, to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs
* Use assessment data to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies
* Promote positive behaviour and support students in developing self-regulation skills
* Collaborate with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support holistic development
* Foster an inclusive classroom where all learners feel valued and empowered
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Experience teaching pupils with SEN, including ASC and/or SEMH, is highly desirable
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Commitment to inclusive education and pupil-centred teaching
* Passion for supporting the personal and academic growth of vulnerable learners
