Location: Epsom (KT17) – Term Time, Full-Time (with travel to employer sites)
Salary: £26,340 – £29,094 per annum (pro rata)

Overview
Our client, a leading further education provider, is seeking a SEND Job Coach to support students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in developing employability skills through work experience and supported internship programmes .
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by helping learners gain independence, achieve their Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes, and transition successfully into the workplace.
Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for learners in the workplace and at college.
* Use initiative to help students develop employability and life skills in real work settings.
* Visit host employers, arrange workplace visits, and monitor student wellbeing both at work and at college.
* Support students in work skills sessions, as well as English and Maths lessons.
* Help learners work towards their EHCP outcomes and provide feedback to track progress.
* Travel with learners to and from placements when required, ensuring safe and smooth transitions.
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) .
* A positive, motivated, and flexible approach with a strong belief in inclusion and learner development.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to inspire and encourage students.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an understanding of workplace practices.
* A proactive, “can-do” attitude with the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel to employer sites across Surrey and beyond.
