:
1. Build collaborations with business, industry, government agencies, professional bodies and other institutions to enhance the application of research and/or leverage staff expertise in real-world settings
2. Develop relevant types of engagement with business and industry such as collaborative and contract research, consultancy, commercialisation, continuing professional development and other types of engagement that create mutual benefit such as employability
3. Develop compelling proposals for funding business and industry collaborations with a strategy for scaling up interactions
4. Deliver successful business and industry-sponsored initiatives
5. Identify, cultivate, and scale up partnerships with business and industry stakeholders for research and education
The Process
This is the second round of recruitments, if you applied during the first round you do not need to apply again. This advert opened on the 05/02/2024, closing at midnight (local UK time) on 07/05/2024. Longlisted candidates will be invited to engage with the (relevant) Department/School for an initial exploratory discussion on potential industry/business opportunities. This will be followed at a later date by a second stage formal selection process for shortlisted candidates.
We recognise the potential of part-time working and the ability to balance work and personal/family commitments. We are also keen to explore joint appointments with business or industry and the mutual benefits this could bring.
