What’s This Role All About?
We are looking for an experienced mid to senior‑level UX/UI Designer to join us on a 3‑month contract in our London office. The role will support our Product Design Team to audit and design career sites for a series of upcoming global projects.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive UX audits to assess user behaviour, identify usability issues, and evaluate the effectiveness of our clients' existing websites.
* Translate insights into tangible design outputs, through sitemaps and high‑fidelity wireframes.
* Own the end‑to‑end UI design process, from concept development to delivery and iteration.
* Present design concepts and research findings to internal teams and clients, articulating design decisions and rationale.
* Collaborate closely with the Product Design Team, driving creative solutions and setting the standard for scalable visual systems.
* Review implemented work against designs and provide clear feedback to our Product Developers.
* Champion accessibility and inclusivity in every aspect of design, exceeding compliance standards.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience designing digital products and websites.
* Strong grasp of both UX methodologies and UI design principles and the ability to lead projects.
* High proficiency in Figma and strong knowledge of visual design principles, including typography, colour theory, and grid systems.
* Experience with motion and interactive design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and inclusive design.
* Ability to synthesize research insights into personas, heuristic reports, and user flows.
* Experience developing sitemaps and wireframes to translate insights into early‑stage design concepts.
* Collaboration and communication skills with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
* Problem‑solving skills and ability to balance user needs with business goals, budget, timeline and technical constraints.
* Organised version control, component libraries and clear naming conventions for development handover.
* Growth mindset and passion for staying up to date with industry trends.
Bonus Points If You Have
* Experience across Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
* Experience with usability testing and design concept validation with users.
* Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Jira, Asana.
* Experience delivering workshops and face‑to‑face sessions with clients.
* Client management experience building relationships and communicating.
