Your new role
Working as part of a friendly, supportive accounts team, you’ll assist in preparing financial statements, management accounts and tax returns for a varied portfolio of clients.Daily responsibilities include:
1. Preparing accounts and VAT returns from client records
2. Producing accurate working paper files
3. Supporting senior team members with deadlines, budgets and client deliverables
4. Highlighting issues and suggesting solutions before manager/partner review
5. Assisting with client meetings where required
What you'll need to succeed
6. AAT qualified and ideally working towards further qualifications
7. Previous experience in an accountancy practice
8. Strong knowledge of VAT and Ie Tax
9. Excellentmunication skills and the confidence to build client relationships
10. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
11. A proactive, positive team player who can work independently when needed
