Permanent, full time role! Production Washroom Operatives required to operate laundry machines – washing and drying – at a company in Yate, BS37
* £14.94ph
* Monday to Friday, 14:00-22:00pm
* Half an hour for lunch break (unpaid) and two paid tea breaks (morning and afternoon)
* Free parking on site
* 10 minutes’ walk from Yate train station
* Full training provided
About the job
* Load dirty laundry into washing machines, setting correct wash programme
* Record times on washing log sheets
* Unload finished washing machines and transfer to dryers
* Correctly dealing with dirty and clean garments, without cross contamination
* Organise drying rails by station, hanging correct paperwork to end of rail and signing off responsibility paperwork
* Remove dry garments after 24 hours, fold and place in relevant clean laundry bag, checking off 3-way check, paperwork, ticket, and garment.
* Place clean laundry bags onto the inspection waiting area in day order
* 25 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays

The right candidate
* Comfortable with manual handling
* Strong communication skills
* Able to complete paperwork withing the section
* Basic PC understanding
* Previous experience in a similar role such as production, warehouse, factory, manufacturing, retail
