* Oversee the department's operations by defining the vision, objectives and priorities while optimizing your team's skills;

o the drafting team, to ensure that manufacturing drawings for existing equipment are kept up to date, and that drawings for new equipment from R&D are adapted to our production standards;
o the workshop team (toolmakers) to ensure the creation and smooth running of tooling, and to respond to urgent technical requests from production;
o the technical writer and methods technician to ensure that products are manufactured to optimized, well-documented standards;
* Act as a leader and mentor, ensuring that skills, tools and processes evolve to meet the division's short- and long-term objectives.
