We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale residential development. The role will take responsibility for the technical coordination of site-wide infrastructure and allocated residential parcels, working closely with operational, commercial and consultant teams to ensure successful delivery from planning through construction and aftercare.
You will provide strong technical leadership, managing design development, programme control and stakeholder coordination to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the planning and detailed design process through external consultants.
* Coordinate/resolve technical and design issues during design, construction and post-completion.
* Prepare and maintain technical programmes and reporting information.
* Coordinate the Pre-Tender Health & Safety Plan with external CDM consultants.
* Provide technical support during procurement and tender reviews.
* Brief, appoint and manage external design consultants
* Liaise with authorities, planning bodies, utilities providers and warranty providers.
* Attend and contribute to design and coordination meetings as required.
* Chair and manage technically led meetings
* Advise senior management on technical, design and delivery matters, providing practical solutions where required.
Experience Required
* Strong knowledge of the residential development and technical delivery process.
* Experience managing design and technical aspects of construction projects.
* Ability to manage programmes, consultants and multiple stakeholders.
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach.
