The Amazon CX Engineer is a professional services role focused on the design, implementation and tier 2 support of full‑stack Amazon Connect solutions.
This position delivers customer experience solutions through infrastructure and application development expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build Amazon Connect environments, including infrastructure and contact flows for voice, chat and email.
* Implement and support Amazon Connect features including Step‑by‑Step Guides, Cases and Diallers.
* Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS components or external systems using AWS Lambda.
* Develop, maintain, and optimize Amazon Lex and Conversational AI interfaces.
* Build custom reporting solutions using DSQL.
* Work directly with clients to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
* Collaborate with AWS teams and partners during implementation projects.
* Deliver client‑facing training on Amazon Connect technologies.
* Provide technical guidance from design to deployment.
* Document technical designs and operational procedures.
* Travel to client sites as required to support project activities.
Minimum Required Qualifications
* 2 years of experience in technical implementation or consulting roles.
* Amazon Connect Communications Specialist.
* Amazon Connect Developer Specialist.
* AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
* Working towards any AWS Associate level certification.
Additional Technical Skills
* Python, Node.js, and React programming experience.
* Infrastructure as code using CDK and Terraform.
* API design and development.
* Strong SQL skills and experience developing custom reporting or analytics solutions.
* Security best practices knowledge.Version control systems (Git).
