Financial Services Administrator

Location: Northwich, Cheshire

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Office Based)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing firm of Independent Financial Advisers based in Northwich, Cheshire. Due to continued expansion, the company is looking to recruit a Financial Services Administrator to support advisers and the wider team.

The successful candidate will be keen to build a long-term career in financial services administration and is happy to remain in an administrative role for a number of years. There is potential for future progression, including funded study towards a Paraplanner role for the right individual, subject to performance and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting advisers and colleagues across all areas of the business
* Liaising with investment and pension providers to obtain client information
* Preparing new business and client onboarding packs
* Maintaining and updating client records on the back-office system
* Ensuring new business is processed accurately and efficiently
* Adhering to FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures
* Handling client enquiries by phone and email
* General office and administrative duties

Skills & Experience:

* Previous office or administrative experience (preferred but not essential)
* Strong IT skills
* Good literacy and numeracy
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* An interest in financial services, investments, pensions, or protection products
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The ideal candidate will have a background in financial administration, a strong desire to develop their career and live locally. You will be a proactive team player with a friendly yet professional approach, capable of taking responsibility for administrative tasks and integrating quickly into an established team.
