Job Title: SEN Tutor
Location: South East England, Surrey, Guildford
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
* Provide tailored academic support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
* Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and progress
* Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students
Required Qualifications:
* Specialist knowledge and experience in supporting students with SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) are desirable
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching or tutoring students with SEN
* Demonstrated success in improving students' academic performance and confidence
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of the UK SEN Code of Practise
* Knowledge of various teaching methodologies for SEN students
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Experience in using assistive technology to support students with SEN
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling
* Work may involve travel to students' homes or educational institutions
* Collaboration with other professionals in the education sector

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
