2 personal assistants required to support a happy and lively 14-year-old girl living in Bude.
She has Autism and a learning disability and would like someone who she can build up a positive relationship with and provide her with some 2:1 support.
Key Responsibilities
* Support her with her communication.
* Accompany her to outdoor activities, parks, and shops.
* Engage in sensory play including water, bubbles and baking.
* Assist her to enjoy activities in her local community.
Working Conditions
* Up to 5 hours per week are available, flexible hours and mainly weekend and school holiday availability required.
* Pay rate: £16.00 per hour.
Requirements
* Some knowledge or personal experience of working with young people is essential.
* A full driving licence is desirable.
* Employment will be under a private arrangement with the family and not for Cornwall Council.
* Commitment to safeguarding; an enhanced DBS check will be required, the administration process will be undertaken by Cornwall Council.
