Vehicle Technician Required in Colchester, Essex
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their reputable dealership team in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to develop their career within a well-established automotive environment. The successful Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics, ensuring high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Benefits:
1. Competitive basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum
2. OTE up to £43,000 inclusive of bonuses
3. Monday to Friday working pattern with no weekends
4. Standard 44.5-hour week, with shifts from 8am to 5.30pm, and 8am to 5pm on Fridays
5. Opportunity to work with reputable brands
6. MOT preferred but not essential
Key duties of the Vehicle Technician include:
7. Conducting vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs efficiently
8. Diagnosing faults using industry-standard systems and equipment
9. Maintaining high quality workmanship and adhering to manufacturer guidelines
10. Completing accurate documentation of work carried out
11. Ensuring customer vehicles are returned to the highest standards of safety and reliability
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
12. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
13. Technical proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair procedures
14. Strong attention to detail and quality standards
15. Ability to work effectively within a team environment
