We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a busy contractor delivering multiple school refurbishment projects across South Wales.
This is an urgent requirement, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position following an initial contract period.
The Role
You will be site-based, managing and supporting mechanical installation works on live refurbishment projects.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising mechanical installation teams on site
* Working on boilers, copper pipework and steel pipe systems
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification
* Coordinating labour and subcontractors to maintain progress
* Liaising with site management and project teams
* Supporting quality control, snagging and completion activities
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor
* Valid Gas Safe certification (essential)
* Strong background working on commercial refurbishment projects (schools, hospitals, etc.)
* Confident working with:
* Steel pipework
* Copper pipe installations
* Boiler systems
* Able to lead teams and maintain site standards
Hours & Pay
* £27.00 per hour (CIS or LTD)
* Weekly pay
* Overtime available (rates to be confirmed)

Permanent Package
For candidates moving into a permanent role:
* £45,000 – £55,000 basic salary (DOE)
