In the role of Cover Supervisor, you will be at the heart of creating a learning environment that nurtures, engages, and supports students in reaching their full potential.
The school is part of a trust and also has sites in Okehampton and Tavistock, those able to travel across all 3 would be great!
Key Responsibilities:
· Classroom Supervision: During teacher absences, you will take the lead in supervising classes, fostering a positive and productive atmosphere for optimal learning.
· Guidance and Support: Provide valuable guidance and support to students, ensuring they complete tasks to the highest standard and empowering them in their academic pursuits.
· Effective Communication: Address general inquiries and deliver constructive feedback after cover lessons, contributing to a continuous cycle of improvement.
· Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent approaches, offering additional support to students with varying needs.
· Student Well-being: Contribute significantly to student well-being and play a vital role in fostering a nurturing ethos within the school community.
To be eligible for this role with GSL Education you must:
· Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
· Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application.
