There is an excellent opportunity to join the award-winning Dyfed Pension Fund team who has vacancy for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior Communications & Employer Liaison Officer. The Dyfed Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme for a number of employers, and the Police and Fire Pension Schemes.

We are a busy section and pride ourselves in providing the best service we can to our pension scheme members and pensioners. We are looking for an experienced individual who is studying towards or has attained the CIPP Foundation Degree in Pensions Management and Administration.

Your duties will include:

* To perform accurate calculations and interpret complex legislation and procedural requirements in all areas of pensions administration.
* Ensuring your knowledge on pension regulations and guidelines is current and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
* Providing guidance and support to employees on pension-related issues,
* Provide accurate and timely data for a variety of stakeholders.

Candidates should have:

* Substantial practical experience of work in Local Government Pensions administration or a similar role.
* Good numeracy abilities and attention to detail.
* Effective written and verbal communication capabilities
* Ability to organise workloads to deal with frequently changing and conflicting priorities with minimal supervision effectively to ensure statutory deadlines are met.

Initial training will be full time office based for a minimum of 3 months. We also have flexible working hours; flexible start and finish times around 'core working hours'.
