Provides administrative direction for the residential care department, a 24-hour program, seven days a week. Designs, implements, and oversees the case management and referrals to clinical services to address clients’ mental health, substance use, social needs, and overall well-being; provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to case managers; oversees assessments of clients’ mental health, substance use, medical needs, and social needs, ensuring appropriate referrals are provided and follow-up is conducted; develops and implements protocols for handling client crises, including mental health emergencies, suicidal ideation, or substance abuse issues; ensures all case managers comply with federal, state, and local regulations as well as shelter policies; maintains accurate and confidential client records in compliance; builds and maintains partnerships with healthcare providers, mental health agencies, addiction treatment centers, Veteran organizations, and other community organizations; uses data analytics to monitor outcomes and identify trends that inform program decisions; oversees the case management and client care budget and identifies funding; assists in writing proposals; serves a spokesperson to advocate for the needs of homeless populations; and participates in organizational strategic planning and decision-making processes.
