On-site support, organisation-wide productivity.
Role responsibilities
* Be crucial to the seamless running of technology operations by managing the product life cycle of all service-raised incidents and requests, in support and maintenance of end user services.
* Inform customers on progress and advise on workarounds when necessary.
* Work on-site engaging directly with end-users to fix hardware and technical problems swiftly.
* Prioritise tasks based on business needs and dependencies.
* Provide resolutions through troubleshooting and diagnosing; escalate faults to service desk, incident and problem managers as needed.
* Build and carry out routine (re)configuration and installation of secure managed devices, optimising performance.
* Apply agreed methodologies, standards and processes to make and validate decisions.
* Responsible for secure disposals of equipment and reviews of technical and operational process documentation.
* Minimise downtime and ensure the productivity of the organisation.
Required qualifications and experience
* Agile and ITIL Foundation level or equivalent experience.
* Microsoft Fundamentals (role-based certification).
* Level 3 Information Technology or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science or relevant experience.
* Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Apple iOS.
* Significant experience with technologies in enterprise and/or secure environments; strong technical understanding of hardware, operating systems and software; ability to stay composed in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
* Ambition to maintain professional development and share knowledge with colleagues.
Desirable
* Experience in ITIL environments.
* Microsoft role-based certifications (e.g., Microsoft Associate), ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure, Intune & SCCM, and knowledge of related components, devices, processes and protocols.
