About the Role We are looking for a motivated and reliable Stores Person to join our clients team on a 6‑month contract within a busy manufacturing facility.
This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations by managing stock, supporting production teams, and maintaining an organised and efficient stores environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries
Issue materials, components, and parts to production as required
Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory systems
Carry out regular stock checks and audits
Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of goods
Keep the stores area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
Liaise with procurement, production, and logistics teams to support operational needs
Prepare and package outgoing shipments where requiredAbout You
Has previous experience in a stores/warehouse role (manufacturing experience beneficial)
Is confident using SAP
Can work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Has good organisational skills and attention to detail
