Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Record-to-Report Manager (RTR) to join a nationally recognised business with a shared service function based on the outskirts of Liverpool. This leadership opportunity offers the chance to shape and drive strategic direction for RTR operations within a Shared Services environment. The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Group Shared Services, key responsibilities of the Record-to-Report Manager will include:
* Managing and optimising end-to-end RTR processes, such as journal postings, reconciliations, VAT and CIS returns, and more.
* Leading a team of finance professionals while championing best practices and operational efficiency.
* Collaborating with key stakeholders, including Group Finance, auditors, and wider business units, to ensure smooth operations.
* Coaching and mentoring your team, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
* Ensuring financial controls and compliance with internal policies and standards.
* Leveraging data and performance metrics to drive process improvements and achieve operational excellence.
