Your role would be to provide expert information and advice on aspects of procurement processes within the company. You will be responsible for sourcing the required products and services from suppliers ensuring that the quantity meets the business needs and at the most cost effective price. This extends to all other purchasing that is required including uniforms and PPE for employees and new starters through to stationary, promotional merchandise and facilitating waste management.
Responsibilities of the Procurement Cooridinator:
* Maintaining industry market knowledge in relation to new suppliers/products in the market.
* Reviewing, comparing, analysing products and services to be purchased.
* Raising purchase order with preferred suppliers.
* Maintaining and updating supplier information such as delivery time, cost, product rate etc.
* Manage stock levels, liaising with the different departments to ensure adequate stock is available for current and forth coming projects.
