Duties
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical office
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients
- Answer phone calls within the Contact Centre, respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records system
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Experience
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle patient inquiries or concerns in a professional manner
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
