We're hiring a Financial Controller to lead the operational finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a high-impact role with end-to-end ownership: from delivering clear, actionable reporting to driving real commercial outcomes across both head office and store teams.
What you'll own:
* Leadership of the operational finance team-mentoring, supporting, and raising the bar
* Delivery of timely, accurate management accounts, board reporting, and cashflow analysis
* Development of robust control frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives
* Payroll ownership across HQ and stores with insightful cost tracking
* Year-end audit management and statutory reporting
* Business partnering with senior leadership to drive commercial performance
* Budgeting, reforesting, margin tracking, and working capital management
* Ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
What you'll bring:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in a retail-led environment
* Excellent technical accounting skills and a commercial mindset
