The role
EduTalent Group are seeking an inspiring and experienced Head of Music to lead and develop a thriving music programme within a specialist independent school environment. This part time leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of Music across the school while delivering engaging classroom teaching and overseeing a vibrant programme of performances and extracurricular activities. The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, coordinate visiting instrumental and vocal teachers, direct ensembles, and organise a range of musical events throughout the academic year. They will play a key role in ensuring Music remains a central and valued part of school life, inspiring students of all abilities to participate, perform and develop their musical talents. Working within a specialist educational setting, the Head of Music will be committed to adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of students with dyslexia and co occurring specific learning difficulties, ensuring every learner can access and enjoy the curriculum.
