Salary: £13.40-£14.50 per hour (sleep-ins available)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join a dedicated team in Weston-super-Mare, supporting individuals living with paranoid schizophrenia and acquired brain injuries. This is a rewarding role for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities
* Providing person-centred support to adults with complex mental health needs and neurological conditions.
* Supporting with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
* Encouraging and facilitating meaningful activities and community engagement
* Building trusting relationships and promoting independence
* Writing clear, detailed notes and maintaining accurate records
* Working as part of a supportive and professional team
What We're Looking For
* Experience in mental health or brain injury support is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication and observational skills
* Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and sleep-ins
* A calm, empathetic approach and a genuine passion for care
