Your Role
As Third in Charge, you'll take on a key leadership role within the nursery, supporting both the management team and your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where every child can thrive
* Leading by example to deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
* Supporting and mentoring staff, helping them achieve their personal and professional goals
* Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, carers and staff
* Taking on room leadership and stepping up in management responsibilities when required
* Monitoring and improving childcare practices to maintain outstanding standards
* Assisting in budget management and ensuring cost efficiency
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Qualified to Level 3 (or above) in Early Years Education
* Experienced in a nursery or early years leadership role
* A strong communicator with excellent teamwork and leadership skills
* Confident with the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
* Passionate about providing the very best start in life for every child
