Join a growing regional team supporting industrial refrigeration customers across Sunderland, with additional work on expanding contracts toward Leeds.
What you will do
Were looking for a hands-on Engineer experienced in servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial-size chillers and refrigeration systems. In this mobile role, youll act as a key technical contact for our customers, carrying out diagnostics, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and reactive repairs across a variety of industrial sites. Youll produce clear service reports, recommend improvements, and ensure safe, compliant operation of all equipment. While youll often work independently, youll also collaborate closely with our wider engineering team.

What were looking for
* Refrigeration apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
* Experience working on industrial chillers and refrigeration systems (HFC; ammonia/CO2)
* Ability to interpret technical documents: electrical schematics, piping diagrams, system layouts
* F-GAS 2079 & Ammonia handling certification
* Familiarity with major OEMs (e.g., SABROE, Frick, York, Bitzer, Howden)
* Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach
* Full UK driving licence
