Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Medical Secretary in the Breast department. Based at Clatterbridge Hospital, the position is offered on a 9 months fixed term basis working 21 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Implementing and managing systems for the office/team workload, ensuring work is completed within strict timescales.
* Administratively supporting clinical & non-clinical activities.
* Exercise your judgement and initiative based on experience and knowledge of arising problems and take appropriate action to resolve situations, including follow up of investigation results, ensuring that all results are presented to medical staff and subsequently actioned/filed into patients medical records.
* Work well on your own initiative whilst being committed to teamwork to meet patients' needs; maintain good communication, work under pressure, and represent the department with due professionalism.
* Ability to prioritise workload and deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional manner.

* Ability to work in a busy environment and meet demanding timescales.
* Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information professionally.
