We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Engagement Communications Manager within the Stakeholder Engagement team. This role will be based on-site in Birmingham and is a 18-month FTC.
Role Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the creation and delivery of creative communications (both written and digital) in line with HS2 Project's community Engagement Strategy, BBV's Local Area Engagement Plan, and Community Investment Plan. This involves analysis, planning, responding to needs, identifying requirements and emerging demands, creating, delivering, and reporting performance.
2. Develop, manage, and deliver plans targeting the right audiences with engaging material, using the most effective channels, considering cost, quality, and timeliness.
3. Work closely with engagement and interface teams to deliver plan outputs and liaise directly with project delivery teams. Collaborate with suppliers supporting communication activities as needed.
4. Ensure effective communication and messaging between BBV, MWCC, Station Construction partners, and communities.
5. Protect and enhance the reputation of the HS2 project, the Balfour Beatty VINCI joint venture, and the parent companies.
6. Adhere to HS2 protocols, procedures, and brand guidelines, ensuring all communications are accurate, on-brand, and approved by stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively across multiple geographical locations.
* Adaptability to changing business demands.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage conflicting deadlines.
* Willingness to travel.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
