About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join our Housing Team on a temporary basis for an initial period of approximately four months.
This role will play a key part in supporting theasset management programme and helping achieve a target of 90% stock condition surveys completed by September across our housing stock, with a particular focus on properties less than five years old.
This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with housing sector experience to make an immediate impact within a busy and ambitious organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake stock condition surveys across our residential housing portfolio
* Inspect properties less than five years old and accurately capture condition data
* Assess building components and identify current and future maintenance requirements
* Record survey findings using handheld devices and asset management systems
* Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with organisational standards
* Support the Asset Management team with reporting and programme delivery
* Liaise professionally with residents and internal stakeholders to arrange and complete surveys efficiently.
About you
* Experience undertaking stock condition surveys within social housing, residential property, or a similar environment
* Knowledge of building construction, defects diagnosis, and property maintenance
* Experience collecting and managing asset data
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume survey programme
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
