* Part of the Faculty of Media, Arts and Humanities, Drama faculty work alongside colleagues and students in music, literature, media practice, creative writing, film and art history among other fields.
* Our specialisms include contemporary theatre-making, directing and writing, performance and ecology, popular theatre, dance and the choreographic, anti-racist performance praxis and scholarship, feminist pedagogies, actor training, site-specific theatre and queer theatre and theory.
* As scholars and practitioners, we are committed to socially progressive enquiry and change across all areas of our work.
About you
You will play an integral role in teaching and academic student support across a range of theory and practice modules on our undergraduate programme in Drama, Theatre and Performance.

* You will teach and assess students drawing on your research and creative specialisms, including areas such as theatre-making, theatre and performance analysis, directing and performance composition, experimental and collaborative devising, and staging theatre texts.
* You will supervise dissertations and practice-based undergraduate research projects and support students’ creative production processes.

* First and foremost, we are looking for someone who is committed to collaboration, thinks in innovative and ethical ways about teaching, learning and research, and who understands the challenges today’s students face.
