Drainage Supervisor
Contract: Cheshire East Highways

Ringway Jacobs has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join the Drainage team in Cheshire East.
Reporting to the Drainage Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end highway drainage works across both revenue and capital programmes, including reactive, emergency and planned maintenance activities.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that operatives and supply chain partners are deployed effectively and carry out their work safely. You will supervise site activities to ensure all operational tasks are delivered in line with relevant standards, strategies and service policies.
The Role
1. Carry out supervision of both self-delivery and SCP gangs to ensure that works are carried out safely and to the highest standard.
2. Ensure programmes are delivered to key milestones across the contract.
3. Monitor delivery to ensure work is carried out in accordance with Ringway Jacobs, specifications and procedures.
4. Ability to self-manage priorities and workload using agile/mobile working across the Cheshire East.
5. Communicate daily with the maintenance support team.
About You
6. Good knowledge and application of design procedures, guidance and standards and good practice documents
7. Good knowledge of Construction, Design and Management regulations and application of Health and Safety legislation
8. Good Knowledge of and application of Highway Legislation
9. Previous experience of working with Highways Drainage is desirable but not essential
10. NRSWA – Supervisor (New Road and Street Works Act) Qualification
