We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, while also managing a team of maintenance professionals.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
* Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
* Manage projects related to equipment upgrades, installations, and repairs, ensuring timely completion within budget.
* Utilise knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
* Read and interpret schematics to facilitate repairs and installations of machinery.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and compliance documentation.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the maintenance department.
* Collaborate with other departments to identify maintenance needs and prioritise tasks accordingly.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a management role within a maintenance environment.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proficient in mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
* Previous supervising experience is essential for leading a diverse team effectively.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
* Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments.
