Workshop Team LeaderKey Responsibilities- Interpret and work from detailed manufacturing drawings / specifications to create bespoke joinery items.- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using a variety of tools and state-of-the art machinery.- Assemble, fit, and finish joinery products to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.- Work with other joiners on the team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects.- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order- Ensure that products are successfully manufactured based on the drawing- Assign tasks to team members- Train new team members on processes, safety, and machines- Ensuring the team adheres to production schedules and deadlines- Identifying areas for improvement aimed at lowering costs- Monitoring production standards and quality control- Identify and resolve problems and bottlenecks in the production process- Open / close the workshop when the workshop managers absence.Experience and Qualifications- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a joiner, preferably within a workshop environment.- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification in joinery or carpentry.- Proven track record of producing high-quality joinery work.- Proficiency in using a wide range of joinery tools and machinery.- Strong understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and finishes.- Ability to read and interpret complex manufacturing drawings and specifications.Personal Attributes- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.- High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Flexibility and adaptability to work on a variety of projects with varying requirements.Benefits- Career development opportunities- Supportive and collaborative team environment- Free on Site carparking- Private Healthcare- Death in Service Benefit- Company PensionSkills:Lead a team Knowledge Sharing Team Mentoring Technical Leadership Team DevelopmentBenefits:Group Life Assurance Parking Pension Fund Paid HolidaysWHJS1_NI
