The role:
Our client seeks an experienced professional to supervise, develop, and grow the team. You will take full responsibility for a client portfolio and support management and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of corporate and personal clients
* Review taxation matters and provide technical guidance to clients and staff as needed
* Supervise and guide assignments to ensure all deadlines are met
* Supervise the team, delegate tasks, and monitor work quality and targets
* Assist with departmental management, including staff appraisals and issues
* Coach, support, supervise, and train team members
* Contribute to department development, including business growth, quality, and resource planning
* Stay technically current through courses, reading, and research
* Engage in advisory tax work
The Person:
Successful candidates will have broad recent Corporate or Mixed Tax experience, ideally from a UK practice firm, with strong technical knowledge, proven compliance and review skills, supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills for client and colleague relationships. A positive, confident approach, ability to work independently or in a team, good time management, and organizational skills are essential. Passion for excellent customer service is also important.
Ideally, you will be ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent).
You should demonstrate strong organizational skills, ownership of tasks, high client focus, and a flexible, enthusiastic attitude towards work and team collaboration.
